The gentleman is probably the smoothest bike I've ever owned, especially after the single speed conversion I performed a few weeks back when the parts for the first stage of this build arrived. The Paul Melvin really gets along with this frame. I went with BB7 brakes, HS1 rotors, Spank grips, Pro stem, Sunline bars, denim and leather Premium bmx saddle, Specialized Lo Pro Mag pedals, Race Face crank, Endless cog, Salsa locking seatpost clamp, Gold Loaded Chainring Bolts KCNC top cap, Hope headset spacer, Thomson Elite seatpost, and Halo locking skewers. I like to give a bike a little bling once it proves itself trail worthy. The Caballero is very light, handles great and tames rough trails with ease. A highly recommended ride.
